Director of Auxiliary & Commercial Services

July 2020 – Present

• Provide vision and direction to the Bookstore, Media Services, Safety & Security, Operations Unit.
• Responsible for creating and implementing departmental strategic plan and program review to support the department’s goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training materials, coordinate with other departments, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Oversee financial management for each department unit and provide strategic recommendations.

Accomplishments:
• Spearhead the development of an integrated system called the CMI One Stop Shop (OSS) for the Auxiliary & Commercial Services department. Provided comprehensive workflow on wireframing the system and the mobile app. The OSS includes: Point-of-Sales (POS), Booking Module, Card ID Module, Food Vendor Module, Inventory, Security Patrol, Fleet and Motor pool, Bus Management, Residence Hall and Ecommerce.
• Established a strategic plan, functional chart, positions and job description of this new department established in 2023.

Media Director

July 2016 – July 2020

• Taking the lead role in designing, implementing, and facilitating a community education and marketing plan for the College, and its programs.
• Developing, advocating for and administering the College’s marketing activities.
• Assisting with and supporting involvement in various communications networks and partnerships, including coordinating marketing activities via these relationships.

Accomplishments:
• Introduced Asana (project management app) to the college.
• Voluntary work with the college President to revive the college newsletter Jilel; design, layout, and some articles.
• Composed a branding style guide for the college.
• Established media income services for the college: Desktop Publishing services, Audio services, Video services, LED Panel services, Drone Mapping services.
• Trained each personnel on the media services.
• Installed and deployed servers for Media; Network storage and ID Card system.

• Assisted the CMI Web Developer, especially with the aesthetics of the website.
